Mission & Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee is responsible for providing support for the Redeemer's domestic and international mission partners through:

  1. Recruitment and organization of volunteers for outreach events
  2. Internal publicity within the Redeemer community about our mission partners, our involvement with them, and their needs
  3. Recommendation of recipients for the Church Service League's Outreach Grants and recipients for the All-Parish Christmas and Easter Offerings (see below)

Our two primary partners at the moment are St. Stephen's Church in the South End, which provides Boston children and youth with an after-school program and a day summer camp, and PilgrimAfrica in Soroti, Uganda which provides a variety of development aid iniatives  to war-torn East Africans, including a tuition-free boarding school.

Our other mission partners include anyone who receives an Outreach Grant from us, partners with us on a mission trip, or has any other missional interaction.

For more information on the Outreach Committee, contact Co-Chairs Amy Weed and Chris Wilmerding.
