Prior to being called as Rector of the Church of the Redeemer in Chestnut Hill, the Reverend Michael Dangelo served as the Chaplain at St. Mark’s School of Texas in Dallas and as a Sunday Associate at Saint Michael and All Angels Church. Previously, Mike had served as Rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Lynnfield, Massachusetts and Dean of the Mystic Valley Deanery. From 2004 to 2008, he was Associate Rector for Congregational Growth at Trinity Church in Boston. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College in Illinois, his Master of Divinity degree from Yale Divinity School, and a diploma in Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University. In 2000, Mike married his wife, Faye, who is completing her ThD (doctor of theology) at Harvard Divinity School in Systematic Theology, and will serve as a research associate for the Science, Religion and Culture Program at Harvard Divinity School in the autumn. Together, they have a daughter named Suzannah, who was born in 2007.
