Zibby Pyle

Zibby lives in Chestnut Hill with her husband Russell and four sons Charlie (17), Teddy (15), Tom (11), and Duncan (9). Since joining the Redeemer in 2003, she has been actively involved in many aspects of parish life: teaching Sunday school, running the Christmas Market and later greens workshops, serving as a Stewardship "shepherd" and more. She has loved watching her children participate in Sunday school, confirmation, and youth group; serving as acolytes; helping with outreach. She feels lucky to be part of such a thriving church community. Outside the Redeemer, Zibby, runs a small botanical photography and paper goods company called Bottle Branch. Previously, she worked as a researcher in Harvard’s Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences and long before that, she trained to be a botanist and lived in a tent in the Bolivian Amazon.
