A Time to Build is a partnership seeking to provide families of Epiphany School with stable and affordable housing through a unique faith-based partnership.  Greater Boston Habitat for Humanity and Church of the Redeemer are partnering with Epiphany School to build a portion of the seven affordable housing units that will be part of Habitat's Norfolk Street Project in the Codman Square neighborhood of Dorchester.  We hope to raise $500,000 toward its construction.

Families from Epiphany who qualify for the project will provide 300 hours of 'sweat equity' in the construction of their home and must participate in twelve 'New Homeowner" seminars ranging from finance education to heating system maintenance.  Selected families will then be offered a 0% interest 30 year mortgage with the monthly mortgage payments not to exceed 30% of that family's gross annual income.
